He uses his artistic practice as a means of thinking about questions of conflict, nationhood, home and belonging. With chisel and hammer, Khaled Jarrar tirelessly chips away at the 8 metre high Separation Wall, working quickly to collect enough fragments of concrete to become the base medium of his sculptures. He then pulverizes these wall stones into a fine sand and mixes it into a fresh cement mixture he fills into various molds of sports equipment, internationally symbolic... Read full biography
