He did not come here by accident, because his family had been associated with Polish culture for many years - his mother's brother and uncle were involved in translating Polish literature into Japanese. At that time, the very journey by ship had a great influence on him - in the artist's memories it appears as a moment of an extremely intense feeling of nature: the presence of water, sky and air, as well as the infinity of space.
