Konstanty Gorbatowski graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (1955), where he studied with professors Julius Studnicki, Krystyna Studnicka and Kazimierz Sramkiewicza. Initially exhibited his paintings in the Tri-City (1957-1963), then at the Galerie Berheim in Paris and Warsaw Kordegarda (1965), Detroit (1972) and in Italy (Turin, 1969, Milan, 1975; Rome, 1980), where he enjoyed particularly popular.
