Luis Chan’s art does not concern so much with being western or eastern. He focused on the imagination brought to his works. These features come from Chan’s wild imagination and use of a kaleidoscopic range of fantastical colours, which are teeming with childlike whimsy. Luis Chan passed away in 1995.
