His elemental forms bordered on folk art and were the combination of colorful pop art along with architectural shapes. He ingeniously designed his characters to reflect mechanical attributes and a plasticity which is successfully conveyed through his use of color and varied perspective that pushed the two-dimensional plane of the canvas, all with a humoristic touch.
