Manfredo Borsi was born February 15, 1900, in Florence, Italy. Manfredo Borsi was a painter, draughtsman, ceramicist, lithographer, monotype artist. Borsi became interested in painting in 1916 and participated in the Futurist movement while studying to be a goldsmith. In 1920, Borsi moved to Scandinavia where he lived for five years, working in interior design and studying ceramics. His work was exhibited in Copenhagen.
