He was associated with the "Strain of the Horned Heart" - an artistic group gathered around the sculptor Stanislaw Szukalski. The activity of its members was in the line of traditionalist art. The artists looked for inspiration in the former Slavic region, wanting to create an idiom of a new national art. Marian Konarski was hailed as Marzyna from Krzeszowice. He died in 1998.
