At that time, the reviews could be much sharper than today, many debut shows were completely watched and the artists had a very hard time coming back. As a child, he received from his father a folder containing about ten works of art published by the Swedish Radio. One of the pictures was Grünewald's "The Singing Tree", a painting that made a deep impression on him. His admiration for Grünewald has stood out over the years.
