Mohammad Mohreddin was a pioneer of Iraqi art in the 1960s and 70s. He studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, where he was influenced by abstract movements, street art, constructivism, and political posters. Upon returning to Iraq, he became engaged in his art due to the political turmoil caused by military coups. In 1969, Mohreddin co-founded the New Vision group, an artistic movement focused on political activism.
