At the end of the sixties, in Florence, Reschi specialized in the battle genres and landscape renewing successful examples of Salvator Rosa and Jacques Courtois. Reschi has been documented in Rome with the Dutch landscape painter Pieter Mulier. At the end of the sixties, in Florence, Reschi specialized in the battle genres and landscape renewing successful examples of Salvator Rosa and Jacques Courtois. Reschi benefited from the patronage of the Marquis Pier Antonio Gerini. Gerini offered him the opportunity to spend the seventies of the seventeenth century in the palace of the noble family located in Florence where he kept several works by Salvator Rosa.
