His formative training in the study of art, specialising in drawing and painting was at the Warwick School of Art and later with the North East London Arts College where he studied Factionalism. He has also made the transition into wall assemblage paintings which consist of shapes, covered in canvas, treated then painted with acrylic or oil paints.
