Severin Bieszczad was primarily a genre painter, the author of pictures from the life of villages and small towns. Many of his works are based on literary motives (eg scenes from the works of A. He exhibited a lot - at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Krywult Salon and the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Lviv, Munich and Vienna.
