Stanislaw Bohusz-Siestrzencewicz was a Polish artist born in 1869 in Niemenczynek estate. He studied painting in Vilnius and St. Petersburg, and later in Paris. He established his workshop in Warsaw and traveled between Warsaw and Vilnius. He was known for his scenes of Polish countryside and native landscape, and his works were characterized by vitality and energy. He died in Warsaw in 1927 and was buried in Vilnius.
