Vladimir Nalecz (1865 Kiev - 1946 Jerusalem) Vladimir was a painter and journalist. In the years between 1885-93, he studied at the Academy of St. Petersburg with P. Czistiakow and W. Jakobi. He supplemented painting studies at the Düsseldorf Academy with EG Dücker and in 1897 with E. Petitjean in Paris. He traveled a lot, painting landscapes from the countries he visited.
