Son of the painter Jim Palmer and nephew of sculptor Walter Palmer, Addison has creativity that was encouraged and nurtured. In 1989, he attended Brevard College on a full art scholarship. Son of the painter Jim Palmer and nephew of sculptor Walter Palmer, Addison has creativity that was encouraged and nurtured. In 1989, he attended Brevard College on a full art scholarship. After graduation, Addison Palmer moved to St. Simon's Island where he continues to live and paint today. He is inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds him and these images of the Lowcountry are reflected in his current work.
