Camille Joseph Etienne Roqueplan was a French artist born in Mallemort around 1800/1803. He was a portrait, landscape, history, genre, and marine painter, as well as a lithographer and watercolorist. Roqueplan exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1822 to 1855 and was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour. He died in Paris in 1855.
