After the war years, Crandall resumed the interest in transparent watercolor, which had been stimulated in junior college by Jewell Bennett Buller, a teacher at the college and disciple of the California School of watercolor painting. In later years, study with Milford Zornes and Hans Burkhardt provided new insights for the artist. As a member of the Pasadena Society of Artists and the Laguna Beach Art Association, Crandall has exhibited extensively with these groups as well as participating in National and local group shows....
