Enrique Romero Santana, born in 1947, is a Spanish artist, originally from a small town in Andalusia, who now lives in the United States. He is especially famous for his seascapes and urban landscapes. After studying education, philosophy, literature and psychology at university, he briefly shared an art studio with Antonio Lopez Garcia in Madrid in 1984. After studying education, philosophy, literature and psychology at university, he briefly shared an art studio with Antonio Lopez Garcia in Madrid in 1984. His work has been widely exhibited throughout Spain, France, Italy and the USA from 1988 onward. Santana has lived and worked in Chicago since 1991. In 2000 and 2001, he won the Lepe and Andalusian Golden Medal Award for his artistic contributions.
