He was a branch manager of a bank at the time and knew the family. George's father had invented an embalming fluid and became moderately wealthy for the time. Southport etc. My father donated several paintings of various sizes to the Wyoming County . Hospital in Warsaw, NY. I assume they are still there. As I remember some . were large.
