Han Wu Shen began his journey as an artist in June of 1970. As soon as 1971 he began to have his works published and had participated in several art exhibitions. His works included oil paintings, posters and storybooks. His oil painting entitled "Do Not Forget the Past" was thought to have great social significance in his native country of China. His works included oil paintings, posters and storybooks. His oil painting entitled "Do Not Forget the Past" was thought to have great social significance in his native country of China. Wu Shen became a member of the Association of Artists of Hubei in 1979. He then entered the Electronic Education Center in 1980 in order to study Graphic Design. It was at that time that he began to focus on picture-story book creation.
