His landscape works stand out for the luminosity and essence of the place, highlighting the execution of his marine and port landscapes, especially those of Almeria. He was awarded the Medal in the Salón de Otoño in 1964, the First National Watercolor Prize in 1974, the Felipe Trigo Medal of the City Council of Madrid, among others.
