After travelling through several European countries including Italy and Great Britain, he helped establish the El Paso group with other artists of the period such as Antonio Saura. In 1960 his "spirals" were exhibited at the MOMA in New York. He also played an important role in cultural management, participating in the founding of the Plastic Arts Management Board....
