He co-founded the League of Palestinian Artists in 1973 and later founded the 'New Visions' movement in response to the second Intifada. Mansour was also among the founders of the Al-Wasiti Art Center for international networking of Palestinian artists. He is actively involved in Palestinian cultural politics and teaches at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem.
