With his well-versed realistic skill, metaphoric, vague as well as playful techniques are often displayed. In his artworks, Kuo incarnates into angels, beasts, and other many disguises. In a sense, roles that cannot be played in reality emerge in different background settings, and common daily objects are chosen to excavate the dark self that lurking in the mind. Kuo depicts experience and memory of his own life, applying the kind of sarcastic and metaphoric technique, along with the unique and weird grayish purple to create theater surrealism.
