With the help of a scholarship, he was also able to complete training as a conservator and restorer in Brussels and Paris. Study trips led Møller through Switzerland, to Bornholm, and Norway. Over time, he worked at various institutions as curator, e.g. in 1834 as curator of Count Moltke’s art collection. At the same time Møller was also active as a teacher at the Søkadet-Akademiet.
