It was not until years later when in 1956 he began to study at the school of painting in Velez Malaga, with Juan Morcillo. In 1961 he began his exhibition career, since he made his first solo exhibition, which took place in the Caja de Ahorros Provincial in Velez-Malaga. It was not until years later when in 1956 he began to study at the school of painting in Velez Malaga, with Juan Morcillo. In 1961 he began his exhibition career, since he made his first solo exhibition, which took place in the Caja de Ahorros Provincial in Velez-Malaga. Later he moved to Madrid to begin studying at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando. Where he stayed for a year. However, after leaving the academy he continued his self-taught training as he went to the prado as a copyist, and also worked for a while in a graphic workshop where he appreciated different techniques.
