In 1881 she decided to move to Paris, where she met artists like Käthe Kollwitz, Louise Breslau and Maurice de Vlaminck. In 1890 she finally became a member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. Although she established herself in Frankfurt am Main in 1890, she was regularly represented at the Paris Salon since 1883.
