In 1952, she moved to Seattle to visit her sister who was living there. She studied art with Northwest Masters Kenneth Callahan and Jacob Elshin, also spending two years at the University of Washington. She was represented by two Seattle Art Galleries - Gordon Woodside and Foster/White fine art galleries. She died in her home on Bainbridge Island on August 14, 2007.
