In 1946, on commission from Life Magazine, Doris Lee traveled around the Gulf of Mexico from Cuba, through the US into Mexico. The article "Doris Lee's Tropic Tour," included 15 paintings from trip, was featured in the May 12, 1947 issue.
"Untitled (Colorado Mountain Town)" is an oil on board painting by Doris Emrick Lee (1905-1983) presented in a custom black frame, outer dimensions measure 15 ½ x 26 x 1 ¾ inches. Image size is 12 x 22 inches.
