Bold, confident brushstroke in gritty piece with an exciting pink-orange-beige palette with artist’s classic green, blue, purple & white color highlights. The more orange tones in this carved, gilt period Schneider Seattle frame really compliment the tonality of this painting very well.

Vibrant, saturated Forker that has it all, including original carved, gilt Newcomb-Macklin frame.

Bright painting of Lake Union Boats Docked with Gasworks Park (today) in background. Love the light & movement in the clouds & the reflection on the water. Can’t beat the exceptionally carved, silver metal leaf Newcomb-Macklin period frame to set off this view of a blustery Seattle Spring day.

Exhibited at Tacoma Art Museum 'Concise History of Northwest Art'. Depicts Ballard (Seattle) Marine scene. One of his best paintings for impasto, color & composition. In lovely condition in the original period Newcomb-Macklin frame. It's always been my favorite Forkner painting!
