This is a rarer Ziegler drypoint image of the Alaskan Husky Dog & Team done in approximately 1939...this image is shown in the Frye Art Museum publication from 2002 on Ziegler's drypoints 'Capturing The Character of the Northwest, Drypoints by Eustace P Ziegler', plate 9 pg 15. I have the matching imagery by Ziegler depicted on the cover of an Alaska Steamship Company Menu for the July 17, 1939 voyage of the SS Columbia...& a very similar original Husky portrait in pastel by Josephine Crumrine Liddell (also on AskArt), who also illustrated color menu covers for the Alaska Steamship Company in the 1940s.
