Hayler Lever painted some little gems and this one ranks highly among them. A very desirable St. Ives scene, the work is in immaculate original condition and handsomely framed in a fine Sgrafitto hand carved frame. Clayton-Liberatore provenance. Please inquire.

Created around 1923, Still Life: Turnip and Carrots demonstrates Lever’s openness to experimenting with different concepts, as well as his remarkable talent for the watercolor medium, and was likely shown at an exhibition of his work held at the Delaware Art Museum in 1978.

A large watercolor by Richard Hayley Lever, a desirable view of Gloucester Harbor as seen above Smith's Cove, in excellent original condition and framed to museum-quality archival standards. The Kennedy Galleries Label is retained to verso, the work pictured in the exhibition catalog also provided.

Such a desirable scene and location handled in Levers most notable brushwork and color.

Original period oil painting form the 1930's of the Washington Park Arc at night by Hayley Lever in untouched condition. Provenance: Private Collection; 2009; BENTON GALLERY; From previous; 2009

A very desirable example by Lever, a beautifully executed St. Ives scene depicting Smeaton's Pier looking across to Carbis Bay. A keen eye may also notice the train in the distance. Albeit smaller, the composition is similar to the painting that recently set the new auction record for the artist.
