Alfred Maurits Bergström was a Swedish artist and professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He was a painter, watercolourist, and etcher. Alfred Maurits Bergström was a Swedish artist and professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He was a painter, watercolourist, and etcher. During the years 1887–1891, he studied at the Academy and won the royal medal in 1891. He stayed in France from 1894 to 1895. He also visited North Africa and the Netherlands and painted Swedish landscapes featuring seas and countryside.
