He took part in the Brussels World's Fair of 1910 and gave an exhibition in Antwerp in 1906. There was also a painting of him exhibited at Kunsthalle Bremen in 1898. When the Municipality of Heist in 1913 issued a brochure to promote the coastal town, the poster designed by Aloïs Boudry. At the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, he fled to...
