A pensioner in Rome in opposition, he won a first prize at the National Exhibition of 1878 with the monuments of history, Origin of the Republic (year 598 before the Christian era). Plasencia portrays the moment Lucrecia's body is presented to the people to incite revenge and rebellion against the tyrant. This same picture, but unfinished, had been part year earlier exposure of pensioners for which he received high praise. This same work attended the 1878 Paris Universal for which he received a third... Read full biography
