He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists. In 1996, he took Best of Show and First Place VIP Choice at the "Southeastern Wildlife Exposition." In 2008, he won "Best of Show" at the 9th Annual "Wildlife & Western Visions Art Show." . Grant Hacking was the Featured Artist at the prestigious Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Feb. 2015.
