In 1979, along with Michael Freudenberg and A. R. Penck, he founded a painter’s band. In the same year, the collaboration with the guitarist Lothar Fiedler began. In 1979, along with Michael Freudenberg and A. R. Penck, he founded a painter’s band. In the same year, the collaboration with the guitarist Lothar Fiedler began. Leiberg works with the media of music, film, dance, and visual art. In 1990, he founded the performance group GOKAN, where he increasingly applied the Noise-Painting technique. This technique, which he developed himself, applies a life electronic implementation of sign noises into sound.
