Ron Hedrick a romantic impressionist painter, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1942 and has always lived in British Columbia. He didn't take a serious interest in art until he was in his thirties. While living in a lakeside cabin at Paul lake, near Kamloops, the beauty of the area inspired him to such a degree that he realized that this was his calling and he devoted himself to making painting his vocation. Ron Hedrick a romantic impressionist painter, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1942 and has always lived in British Columbia. He didn't take a serious interest in art until he was in his thirties. While living in a lakeside cabin at Paul lake, near Kamloops, the beauty of the area inspired him to such a degree that he realized that this was his calling and he devoted himself to making painting his vocation. He had his first art instruction in 1968 from Karl Wood, a western Canadian artist, and he has taken several workshops including one from Ron Lucas. Hedrick's admired several Russian artists, the work of the group of Seven and the French Impressionists also played a strong part in influencing Hedreick's style. He... Read full biography

While living in a lakeside cabin at Paul lake, near Kamloops, the beauty of the area inspired him to such a degree that he realized that this was his calling and he devoted himself to making painting his vocation.
