    Anna Munthe-Norstedt was born in 1854. She lived in Paris from 1878-1881 and studied with, among others, the artist Hugo Salmson. In 1881 she returned to Stockholm. She settled with her husband, the artist Reinhold Norstedt, in a studio apartment at Tunnelgatan. For almost thirty years, their home became a meeting place for artists and intellectuals. Among others, the author Viktor Rydberg (1828-1895) belonged to the closest circle of friends. She became faithful to her choice of motifs in the form of interiors and, not least, flowers, and here developed a witnessed skill.
