He began creating first works of art that were divided by lines. Beginning in 1962, he created his so-called 'Coudrages', which he separated in the center with a seam. In 1967, he took part in the Biennale in San Marino together with Gerhard Richter and Günther Uecker. He was a member of the artist group SYN. The artist lived and worked from 1971on in Ibiza.
