He met Schmidhagen in the years 1943 and 1944 and Micus decided in 1948 to attend the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart. He studied there until 1921 amongst others under Willi Baumeister. He began creating first works of art that were divided by lines. Beginning in 1962, he created his so-called 'Coudrages', which he separated in the center with a seam. In 1967, he took part in the... He began creating first works of art that were divided by lines. Beginning in 1962, he created his so-called 'Coudrages', which he separated in the center with a seam. In 1967, he took part in the Biennale in San Marino together with Gerhard Richter and Günther Uecker. He was a member of the artist group SYN. The artist lived and worked from 1971on in Ibiza.
