Eduardo Chicharro, born in Madrid, found his artistic vocation as a child, before the age of eight years old. Chicharro not only drew and painted but also showed skill as a sculptor working with any clay he found. Soon he combined schooling with his artistic training. He attended the classes given in the Promotion of the Arts having Eduardo Montesinos as a teacher as well as two prominent painters of the time and Balaca Mateos.
