In the period from 1967 until 1969, Franco Grignani’s research focuses on periodic structures. Here the artist experimentally reconstructs geometric and parageometric images, endowing them with interchangeable depth, an extremely movable three-dimensional value. The forms are either alike or similar and are structured by the artist in rapid succession, with constant frequency and angles.
