Within her work are allusions to the political figures of those regions, as well as a constant backdrop of flora, fauna and the wildlife she continues to study. In each of her paintings looms a question of ecological survival, and Mother Nature assumes a variety of representations. Bishop has exhibited since 1980 in Galleries all over the country. In addition, she has exhibited at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in St. Etienne, France and the French Institute of Thessalonic, Greece.
