    An important Canadian Inuit carver, sculptor, draftsman and printmaker, Pauta Saila (aka: Pauta, aka: disc number* E7990) was born in Kilaparutua (Baffin Island), Northwest Territories, settled in Cape Dorset (Baffin Island) in the early 1960s, and died in Ottawa, Ontario.
