Bayard Henry Tyler was born in 1855 in Oneida, Madison County, New York. He was a member of the Art Students League of New York, and was a student of the National Academy of Design. He was a member of the Salmagundi Club, and of the New York Watercolor Society. His work has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington DC.
