Carl Wilhelm Anton Seiler, also known as Karl Seiler, was a German architect and painter born in Wiesbaden in 1946. He studied architecture at the Bauakademien in Berlin and Munich, and later studied with Karl Raupp at the Academy in Munich. Seiler served as a reserve officer in the Franco-Prussian War before settling in Munich. He became a professor at the Munich Academy in 1889 and an honorary member in 1890. Seiler served as a reserve officer in the Franco-Prussian War before settling in Munich. He became a professor at the Munich Academy in 1889 and an honorary member in 1890. Seiler also served as a professor at the Berlin Academy from 1894-1895 and was a member of the Berlin Academy. He participated in exhibitions at the Glaspalast in Munich and was a member of the Munich artists' cooperative. Seiler received various honors, including the Bavarian Order of Michael.
