Eugene Spatharis (2 January 1924-9 May 2009) was an artist of Greek shadow theater and one of the most important painters. Born in Kifissia on 2 January 1924. After his schooling, he started painting and especially for the shadow theater, learning from the pioneers one of whom was his father, Sotiris Spatharis, who died in 1974. After his schooling, he started painting and especially for the shadow theater, learning from the pioneers one of whom was his father, Sotiris Spatharis, who died in 1974.
