She began her art career studying at the Walthamstow and South West Essex Schools of Art prior to moving to Newlyn in 1959. Ten years later, she moved to St Just- in-Penwith, which would prove to be a seminal moment in her artistic career, spurring a new direction in her work. She began her art career studying at the Walthamstow and South West Essex Schools of Art prior to moving to Newlyn in 1959. Ten years later, she moved to St Just- in-Penwith, which would prove to be a seminal moment in her artistic career, spurring a new direction in her work. She specializes in portraying her Cornish surroundings, often outside cottages and Chapels and within village streets. She has had numerous exhibitions over the last four decades, including two at the renowned Newlyn Gallery. She now lives in Penzance and her work can be found in many public and private collections... Read full biography
