Karel Valter was born into an innkeeper's family in the Linz suburb of Ceské Budejovice. He had a musical talent and at a young age he sometimes played the organ in the church of St. Jan Nepomucký. Karel Valter was born into an innkeeper's family in the Linz suburb of Ceské Budejovice. He had a musical talent and at a young age he sometimes played the organ in the church of St. Jan Nepomucký.
